I’m looking for a cabin in Gatlinburg for October. I’ve been everywhere, but can’t find what I have in mind. I have 3 sons and will need something to keep them occupied. Gaming (pool table, air hockey, etc.) are a must. I’d also like to have a fireplace in the bedroom for my husband and I to enjoy. I’ve also seen some cabins (all have been booked) that have fireplaces on the deck….WOW! Any suggestions? I really don’t like the “big name” resorts as the cabins are generally built nearly on top of the other. Thanks to all who respond!!

1)Cut commisions for realtors. The real estate brokers have a virtual union with a set 6% commision rate. This drives up prices and does not add value to homes. Should realtors really make so much commission?

2)Turn some highways into toll roads to support the government to maintain the highways, bridges etc. This should be a temporary measure in most cases.

3)Get corporations out of high schools. They are ruining the health of our children. Schools should be able to survive without corporations influence.

4)Get rid of off shore tax haven status for corproations. When it comes to being American, you are either with the people and government of the United States or you are not.

5) Encourage reverse stock splits. Why? Because some mutual funds follow regulations that do not allow them to invest in companies with stock values below $10. Sounds crazy but look it up. This is keeping some investment institutions from considering putting money in some of the hard hit companies. Who needs companies with billions of shares anyways. It doesn’t spread the wealth.

6) Promote a worldwide decrease in population through smaller families. The catch is at the same time offer more free movement to people to promote human resources where they are needed. Reducing the world population is only a positive event. We will get more freedom, see less production and a cleaner environment.

7) Turn Guantanamo Bay into a luxury resort which generates money for the US government. It would eventually lead to change in Cuba as well.

Now, the House ethics Committee is expanding its investigation of corruption on reports that Charles Rangel (D) NY, accepted money from Nabors Industries for a cultural center in NY named for him.
As well as others charges, most notably that he failed to report taxes on his luxury resort home in the Dominican Republic. Very troubling coming from the head of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, the guys that write US Tax policy for all the folks!

What say you America?
