Me, my wife, and two kids (4 yrs & 10 months) are going to spend a week in San Diego in August. We’re looking for a place that has suites (kitchen and a bedroom separated from the living area), a pool, and nearby fun stuff (beach, park, etc.). A place right on the beach would be great, but isn’t a must. Also, we’ll likely hit the usual amusements like Sea World and Legoland, but we don’t necessarily need to stay right next to either. Four-star luxury isn’t really our speed, but we’d also like something a step up from a Residence Inn.

Me and a girlfriend of mine want to take a 3-5 day trip to cancun. I’m going to start saving.. I don’t have to stay in a luxury resort.. i just want sun, fun relaxation.. can anyone recommend a place and also.. around how much((just a ballpark figure)) should i save for this trip?
