It was very nice. Rented bikes to see "old" Key West. Took a jet ski tour, went snorkeling, had a great time. I live in Central Florida, and although I like Daytona Beach, the water in the Keys is sooooooo much nicer. (Clear, blue, warm...) Have fun. I stayed at the Hyatt Key West last year. It's on the ocean and the views are great. You are on the main street with all the other hotels and condos on the ocean. You are next door to the tallest condo which has a resturant called the Top of Daytona which is a circle glassed resturant overlooking the beach. The price of the rooms are below your maxium. Just make sure you don't go when it's spring break or a motor sport week when they do jack up the prices. The only 4 star hotel in Daytona is The Shores. It’s on the ocean and the views are great.
