Seeing as no1 else has answered your question im just gonna give you what i think may have happened although im not completely sure im right.
I uninstalled my sims 2 game last year including all my expansion packs, because i wanted to completely start the whole game over again! And it worked so therefore, uninstalling the game deletes all your previous work youve done in the game! Therefore i dont think theres any way of getting back your Luxury resort and the White House.
But like i said im ont 100% sure im right. But i hope this gave you an idea of what might have happened!
This has recently happened to me too. I download the Sims 2 Free Time and it said that I had to have a disc, so I thought if I reinstalled an expansion pack that I had the disc for, I would just be able to use the disc from that… But turns out, even uninstalling an expansion pack will delete houses. So the next time you reinstall, just backup everything.
you could try restoring you computer to a previous day, if u dont get back what you’re looking 4 u can always undo the restoration, it should work though. then install apartments and all should be fine.
another thing u could do to be safe is (after u restore) package the lots and upload on thesims2.com, u dont have to publish them but theyll always be there
OMG, that happened to me too. All my stuff has gone as well as all the stuff i downloaded. I eventually convinced myself that it was ok. I got to redo all the pre made famillies. But i still miss all those families a spent ages on. I dont think you can get it back. But if you find a way tell me!!!
hi im really really sorry but uninstalling/reinstalling your game is like deleting everything about sims 2 and then putting only the sims 2 how it first started back on so im really really sorry but there is no way to get them back but you could maybe download some stuff from thesims2.com or modthesims2.com or try googling sims 2 downloads. again im really really sorry that you worked that hard.
