Best Moderate Disney World resort?
My boyfriend and I are going to WDW the 2nd week of December. Both 25yr. We have stayed at the All-Star Music and are looking to upgrade to a Moderate resort.
I love luxury and fun themes, (Please don’t suggest Deluxe, too expensive). I don’t want to stay at Riverside or Wilderness cabins. I’d like Carribean Beach, Coronado Springs, or French Quarter.
Which do you recommend and why? Which has the best: location? theme? food options? rooms? etc? Are there certain sections of these resorts that I should request when booking?
Thank so much!!

I like Coronado for moderate
1 it doesn’t take all day to get to the parks. It is in the middle of all 4 parks.
2 I like the scenery/lake in the center. Something nice to look at as you walk
3 Spacing of the buildings are nice not close to each other.
4 Awesome pool.

My first choice in moderate resorts is French Quarter. I like the theming, the pool, the size of the resort (smallest moderate). I also like the boat to Downtown Disney and that you get the use of the amenities at Riverside just a short walk away. My wife and I spent our first of many Disney trips there.

Carribean Beach becuz the resort is spaced out, less kids, everything is so tropical, the rooms are great & I recommend you get a preferred room just to be closer to the Disney bus stops, the food at the food court is soo good especially their turkey dinners

I also like French Quarter because of all the usual Disney perks, but especially because it is smaller and doesn’t feel so massive! Easier to get around, easier to get in and out. Seems a little less noisy to me.

Definitely the French Quarter! My husband and I spent our honeymoon there and loved it. I love the river that runs behind it and the boat to Downtown Disney. Check out this website..
It has pictures of all the different resorts..plus pics of the rooms and amenities.

I have stayed at all of them and if you like a little quiet boat ride, either the port orleans or the french quater ( they are right next door to each other ) and can take the on charge boat ride to downtown disney ( about 30 minutes 1 way and very relaxing ) they are all very nice just depending on hat you like.
they all have free bus service to downtown disney and all parks, so either you choose will be fine
